Anne is a life-long entrepreneur, starting at age 8 when she
founded A.I.C. & M., Inc. a conglomerate that provided candy, shoe
shining, advertising services, lawn services and foot massage to family
members. She hasn’t stopped since with her own entrepreneurial ventures,
as well as working for several successful small businesses.
Prior to running her coaching company, Anne has worked at various
times in sales (inside and outside), accounting, operations, customer
service, project management and as an owner in sectors including the
construction industry, food manufacturing, tile manufacturing,
non-profit housing, and in a manufacturer’s rep. company supplying
custom engineered metal & plastic parts to Fortune 1000 companies. She
also was a Certified Business Intermediary, helping business owners sell
their businesses, where she was privileged to see and learn from the
good, the bad and the ugly of dozens of companies.
As a coach, Anne has a unique blend of toughness and tenderness,
in the words of one of her clients. She is both deeply compassionate and
highly practical.
While Anne’s special passion is working with solo entrepreneur
women in the areas of communication, marketing, and time management, she
has enjoyed working with men and women from a variety of fields
including financial services, architecture, accounting, manufacturing,
agricultural products, consulting, the arts, insurance, law, health care
services, business-to-business services, psychotherapy, banking,
landscaping, real estate, arts management, medical practice management
and more. The details of a particular business vary, yet Anne believes
we must master the same fundamentals to succeed.
A favorite quote: "We must walk consciously part way toward our
goal
and then leap in the dark to our success." - Henry David Thoreau
